Salmon
Salmon comes in four different varieties. These varieties include Wild King (or Wild Chinook), Wild Sockeye, Wild Coho, and Wild Atlantic. Salmon must be wild to be considered nutritious. If it is farm rasied, it is being pumped with genetically modified corn and grain, which in turn is being consumed by you. The orangy-pink color of the salmon comes from Astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant that comes from the rich diet of shrimp and krill the salmon feeds on. Farm raised salmon are artificially dyed to become that orange color.
