PB & J Idea For Busy Moms
Recently, Dr. Baron’s wife Danielle had posted a great PB & J idea for busy moms: make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in advance for your children! Here is her trick:
MY SON LOVES PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY SANDWICHES. HE WOULD EAT THEM FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER IF I LET HIM! MAKING PB & J SANDWICHES IS NOT ONE OF MY FAVORITE TASKS SO THIS MAKES IT A BIT EASIER… MAKE A BUNCH OF SANDWICHES AT ONCE. PUT PEANUT BUTTER ON BOTH SLICES AND JELLY ON ONE SIDE. WRAP IN FOIL AND STORE IN FREEZER. TAKE OUT A FEW HOURS BEFORE LUNCH OR POP IN THEIR LUNCH BOX. WILL BE PERFECTLY DEFROSTED AND DELISH IN TIME FOR LUNCH!
- For a healthier twist, use raw organic peanut butter (make sure it doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils—only RAW peanuts as the ingredients!), organic jelly, and whole grain or gluten free bread
