The Master Cleanse
This summer, try doing The Master Cleanse to help clean out your digestive tract and your overall insides. This very simple yet effective cleanse helps detoxify your body from your normal eating habits. Below is the list of ingredients needed:
- Fresh squeezed lemon juice
- All natural rich maple syrup
- Cayenne pepper
- Pure water
For a single serving:
- 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon Juice (about 1/2 a Lemon)
- 2 Tablespoons of Organic grade B maple syrup (not the commercial maple flavored syrup you use on pancakes)
- 1/10 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper powder
- Ten ounces of filtered water
For a 60 oz daily serving:
- 60 ounces of filtered water
- 12 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup
- 12 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
Mix together this concoction and drink 6-12 glasses a day whenever an urge to eat comes along. As the days go on, the psychological need to eat will disperse. On average, people usually do this cleanse from 3-7 days (3 if this is your first cleanse). Try it this summer to give your body the detoxification it needs!
