Nightshade vegetables contain solanine, which acts as an irritant which leads to inflammation, especially at the nerve endings and joints. These vegetables include tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants and peppers. Try eliminating these veggies from your diet for a few weeks to a month to determine your sensitivity.
